Navigating Racial Harm: workplace policy & practice

Navigating Racial Harm: workplace policy & practice

Outcomes show that People of Color across sectors experience the highest incidents of harassment, dis-investment, and neglect, leading to disparate outcomes in the workplace - including in many organizations with the best intentions around racial inclusivity and human justice. We affirm that every person deserves to live in their fullest humanity – defined by their spiritual, physical, emotional, and financial health. Establishing clear and firm policies and practices which elevate the humanity of staff is one of the most salient strategies for advancing racial equity & justice in the workplace.

Join us for a panel discussion and community conversation about the common challenges and effective strategies for cultivating organizational cultures that support healing and accountability in response to racial harm in the workplace.

Our scheduled panelists include:

Alonzo Chadwick Sr.

Founder, Zoulful Consulting

Daniela Serna

Director of Communications & Distribution, Open Signal

Jamila Thompson

Senior DEI Implementation Strategist, Oregon DEQ

Kellie Shaw

Director of Equity and Inclusion, Home Forward

Dr. Vincent Pham

Associate Professor of Civic Communication and Media, Willamette University

This will be a live and interactive event, we hope you will join us live! The session recording will also be emailed to all registered participants within 24 hours.
