Traveling while Trans - with the Here to Pee Tour
Members of the national Here to Pee comedy resistance tour join Carlos Kareem Windham to discuss their experiences traveling while Trans through the western states. They'll share their experiences on the first leg of the tour, including safety strategies, unexpected signs of hope, and more.
Combining laughter and purpose, the nation-wide Here to Pee tour, organized by trans activists and comedians, including our very own Carlos Kareem Windham, will stop in all 50 states highlighting trans performers and local LGBTQ+ organizations doing life saving work in their communities.
In different cities across the country each show on the tour will feature and amplify trans voices as performers tackle both the challenges and joys of gender diversity through stand-up comedy that is as insightful as it is hilarious.
The "Here to Pee" tour is more than a comedy show; it's a movement to flush away discriminatory laws through the power of humor. By supporting this tour, you are helping to create a platform for trans rights and equality, connecting communities through shared experiences and laughter. All proceeds are donated to local LGBTQ+ non-profits battling anti-LGBTQ+ ballot initiatives on the local level.
Be a part of this transformative journey and join the party. Support the "Here to Pee" tour, attend a show, and contribute to a cause that champions inclusivity and equality.
The Pop Out with Carlos & Community
Each month Carlos Kareem Windham will host a new guest with a fresh perspective and set of applicable skills to help us navigate the inherited sea of racialized trauma in which we all find ourselves. We are going to build community, refine praxis, and most importantly, reclaim and assert our humanity!
The Pop Out with Carlos & Community is a free community event, registration is required. The session recording will be shared with all registered participants.
