Deanna Parvin Yadollahi
Deanna Parvin Yadollahi identifies as a gender nonconforming and neurodivergent Iranian and Toltec-Mexican community activist, organizer, and dog parent with 8 years of disability justice scholar-art-activism about collaboratively undoing ableism and intersecting oppressions.
Deanna provides Creative Access, DEI+, and Disability Justice Consulting independently; is on the board of directors for for Disability Justice Dreaming; completed certificates for Workplace DEI and Equity Informed Basic Mediation; and is in cohorts for Creating Freedom Movements and the Racial Equity Consultant Development Program.
They are currently embarking on a Master of Social Work at University of Southern California; and earned a bachelor of arts in Psychology and advanced certificate in Disability Studies. And Deanna most highly values knowledge that is co-created within their communities.
Deanna earned prestigious national awards such as 35 under 35 for Delta Zeta, Sally Casanova Predoctoral Scholar honorable mention, Outstanding Advocate of the Year at CSUF, and finalist for the Heumann-Armstrong Award for fighting ableism in education.
